About IEEE InGARSS
InGARSS is an annual international event sponsored by IEEE GRSS, organised in India. It is an annual conference organized by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in remote sensing technologies and applications.
The Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) is a technical society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). One of the most active and rapidly increasing demographics in the global GRSS is the India GRSS (InGARSS). GRSS fosters the engagement of its members for the benefit of society through science, engineering, applications, and education as related to the development of the field of geoscience and remote sensing. InGARSS has been fulfilling the vision and objectives of society in the territory since 2011 with the support, cooperation, and help of the IEEE GRSS global and regional leadership. The Indian GRSS has nine professional technical chapters and 18 student branches. The India Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Symposium (InGARSS), a premier annual regional symposium of IEEE GRSS supported by IEEE GRSS similar to the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Symposium (IGARSS), has been initiated since 2020. Three successful IEEE InGARSS 2020, 2021 and 2023 events were held.
The symposium is open to academician , researchers, scientists, engineers, students, industry professionals, policymakers, and anyone interested in the field of geoscience and remote sensing.
IEEE InGARSS 2024 covers a wide range of topics related to geoscience and remote sensing, including but not limited to satellite imaging, data processing techniques, environmental monitoring, climate change, disaster management, agriculture, forestry, urban planning, and oceanography.
